What a fun and CRAZY day! The day started off with a parade through the hallways and cafeteria. All the children looked fabulous in their costumes! After the parade we went back into the classroom where parents had put together a terrific Halloween Party! Students made masks, frosted treats, made pipe cleaner spooky rings and spiders. They also ate lots and lots of goodies. At the end of the day we all made Monster Stew. The children were able to review their math concepts. Students worked with frog eyes (Skittles), bat wings (raisins), Scarecrow hay (pretzel sticks), ghosts (mini marshmallows), monster fangs (candy corns) and pumpkin heads (candy corn pumpkins).
It was a GREAT, FUN, TERRIFIC day!
Happy Halloween!!!!!
